Have you ever been to a business event that fed your soul?
Last Friday, on International Women's Day, I attended an event which has left a lasting impression on me. We often hear people talk about "collaboration over competition" but the Great Women in Business Meet-up Event epitomised this to a tee. It was the most inspiring and uplifting business event I've ever been to.
Spearheaded by the founders of 4 networks - Karen Heap, Dawn Owen, Sandra Garlick MBE and Sharon Louca - the day was perfectly crafted to meet the needs of women in business. In addition to all the gems that were shared throughout the day, one word just kept coming to mind: community.
There was no denying the positive energy and the sheer joy everyone experienced as a result of soaking in the 4 founders' expertise and making genuine connections. It was also a particular honour to meet the very inspiring Sandra Godley.
